Because of the special services the Foundation for Blind Children provides to the community, the State of Arizona has provided two state tax credits that benefit the FBC directly.

ARIZONA TAX CREDIT FOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO CHARITIES THAT PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THE WORKING POOR
Did you know that you could reduce your tax liabilities by making a donation up to $400 for a married couple filing jointly and $200 as a single taxpayer to the FBC this year and receive an Arizona tax credit? A tax credit can be a “free” way to reduce your total tax liability and benefit our qualified non-profit agency. By designating your contribution to the FBC, your gift will benefit those children, families and adults who rely on the Foundation for critical services. ARIZONA PRIVATE SCHOOL TUITION TAX CREDIT
The Arizona Private School Tuition Tax Credit Law allows a married couple filing jointly to make a donation each year up to $1000 and received a dollar-for-dollar tax credit against the taxpayer’s Arizona state income tax. A single taxpayer is limited to $500. If the taxpayer has actual Arizona state income tax less than the maximum allowable, the available credit in a given year is limited to the actual tax. The law allows a carry forward for up to five years if the donation is made in excess of the actual income tax due. Arizona state income tax forms 301 and 323 are used for claiming the credit.
