Teen To Work

As our students reach high school age, they are eligible to participate in our Teen-to-Work summer program. This five-week program is a residential program on the campus of ASU that prepares participants for their first experience in the job market. Along with our College Prep Program, Teen-to-Work seeks to set students up for success as they grow up and get ready to live independently.

In Teen-to-Work, Students will gain real life experience in working and living on their own. They will prepare resumes, participate in job interviews, and could intern or job shadow in a career field that interests them. For many, this is their first opportunity to live away from their family and learn the true meaning of being independent. They will plan and prepare meals, do laundry, arrange transportation, and budget their money.

On evenings and weekends a number of social and recreational activities are planned to keep you moving and having fun! Past groups have participated in bowling, ropes courses, indoor skydiving, escape rooms, movies, horseback riding, fitness classes, theme parks, ice skating, self-defense classes, and so much more!
