Trailblazers started in 2021 when a group of 12 students took on the challenge of a lifetime. They completed training hikes for over a year in preparation for the Grand Canyon. The students then hiked into the Grand Canyon and went white water rafting for 10 days and 9 nights. Every student that completed that trip has been changed forever.
Trailblazers in the summer of 2022 will be learning the values and lessons that were experienced in the challenge to raft the Grand Canyon. That includes the following:
- Respect of self
- Respect of others
- Pushing through adversity
All of these values will be demonstrated while staying at a cabin retreat on Flagstaff, Arizona.
Dates: July 15th – July 19th, 2022
- Lake activities
- Group projects
