• Educational Support Services

The Educational Support Services Program at FBC can help you achieve your educational goals in a variety of ways.

FBC provides support with assistive technology and training, tutoring, orientation and mobility, and help navigating the college system. We have a unique perspective on the challenges faced by students who are blind or visually impaired. As a result, we can provide you with the necessary moral support to ensure your success.

Whether you plan to go to community college or a university, there is a lot to learn!

    • How to communicate needs with disability resources centers, professors, and tutors.
    • How to obtain books in accessible formats.
    • How to apply for grants and scholarships.
    • Navigation around campus, using Orientation and Mobility (O&M) skills and various modes of transportation.

      student.
