The Arizona Tax Credit

Every day in Arizona, a family is told their new baby is blind. You can help, and it won’t cost you a dime!

Arizona offers a 100% charitable giving tax credit

Your contribution to FBC qualifies for a dollar-for-dollar State income Tax Credit up to $421 for individuals and $841 for couples filing jointly. This means that you can give up to those limits and get it all back when you file your taxes. This is not just another deduction; it’s a true tax credit that the state treats the same as cash.

The deadline to take advantage of the tax credit for the 2023 tax year is April 15, 2024.

To claim your tax credit, talk to your tax professional or follow these steps:

  • Give to FBC up to $421 if you are an individual or $841 if you are married and filing jointly.
  • Save your receipt from FBC.
  • Fill out AZ Form 321 and include it when you file your taxes.
    • The Qualifying Charitable Tax Code (QCO) for Foundation for Blind Children is 20676.
  • We will also send you a giving summary at the beginning of tax season that you need to include when you file your taxes.

That’s it! Send us a message or give us a call if you have any questions on how to donate or claim your tax credit.
