Today, FBC’s Parent-to-Parent group went on a field trip to Hunkapi Farms for a special day of fun with horses. Students and their families got to ride, pet, and groom the friendly horses at Hunkapi.

Hunkapi Farms seeks to teach the world to fear less and love more. By using equine-assisted therapy, they use the unique qualities of the horses to help children with special needs reach their full potential. Developmental therapy, education, and recreation go hand-in-hand at the farm, where people can learn about the animals, increase their confidence, and experience new things.

We love being able to provide our kids with amazing experiences like this. Exposing our students to new sensations and experiences serve both as great learning opportunities and fun getaways for their families. Thanks to Hunkapi Farms and the Arizona Cardinals Foundation for hosting us!
